I filed for sole custody, and after a 6month headache, I WON. The maintenance order was abolished, and I started a new career as an apprentice welder.
One afternoon my pastor called me and asked to meet. God told my pastor to give me his 05 GMC Jimmy. I was in total disbelief. I vowed to my pastor that I would always give thanks to God every time I climbed in. See I was on foot for almost a year, before receiving this blessing. That Jimmy allowed me to have something to trade in to a dealership so that I could purchase a vehicle large enough to fit the entire family. There's no way I could have done this without the precious gift my pastor and his wife gave me.
My pastor and his wife resigned after 30yrs, and there was such a viod within our church, however we're coping. My job at times can be stressful, but I think we all go through that, never the less, I LOVE IT. GOD moves fast in my life, and I still trust in Him to get me through the next hurdle. The devil has tried a few times this year to bring to my knees, however, I've been taught to get into prayer and stay there when times get rough. I'm still very active in worship, and still on 2 teams, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Worship grounds me.
My girlfriend is still at my side, the kids are growing up too fast, and summer is on its way. Well friends, its been a wild ride, and it keeps getting better. Oh yeah, I'm in my 3rd year of recovery from drugs and alcohol, and it's all GOD'S doing.

New Life
Where do I start. Firstly, God has done such an amazing thing, I find it hard to comprehend. After many years, my oldest daughter, who is 15 now, has come to stay with me, and I assure you, it is very trying. There are some issues we are dealing with, and I trust God that these issues will be dealt with. I love my life, and God has shaped me into the man I am today. I'm always praying for others, and in return, I know others are praying for me, and this has been such a blessing. God has granted me with the best ever family and friends, and for this I say, I will always stay true and real to you God. Thank You for my new life.

The weekend
Well friends and family, it's been awhile, and so much to say. Firstly, I'm so stoaked, God has made it possible to spend a weekend with my children. My oldest child, Calla, is now 14 and has turned into such a beautiful young lady. Many years have past since I've spent any real time with her, and I'm so grateful to God for this opportunity. I found my daughter through Facebook which was a miracle in itself. My girlfriend encouraged me to reach out, so I did. Now I chat with Calla often. I leave you with a little prayer, God my Father, at times I may have doubted Your love for me, and at times turned away, but I always believed You would forgive me and all my sins, amen.
PS. I need to say one more thing, to my Best Ever Friend, I lOVE YOU so much, and I thank you for everything.

Cheers to a new beginning.
Cheers everyone, its been awhile, and so many things to share. After the leave in January, I started to really embrace prayer. My month of March was fantastic. Everything I was praying for was given. I knew all along God would make it happen, and He did. I went back to work, and got more involved with worship. In fact, I'm currently on 2 teams, and also working on a project with another band. I recently moved out of the recovery house after 18 months, into a basement suite, and I'm loving it. I spent some time in prayer before taking this step, and once again God made it happen. I still have a few challenges ahead, but everyone does. Thank You God, My Friends, and Family, I Love You All.
