Well friends and family, it's been awhile, and so much to say. Firstly, I'm so stoaked, God has made it possible to spend a weekend with my children. My oldest child, Calla, is now 14 and has turned into such a beautiful young lady. Many years have past since I've spent any real time with her, and I'm so grateful to God for this opportunity. I found my daughter through Facebook which was a miracle in itself. My girlfriend encouraged me to reach out, so I did. Now I chat with Calla often. I leave you with a little prayer, God my Father, at times I may have doubted Your love for me, and at times turned away, but I always believed You would forgive me and all my sins, amen.
PS. I need to say one more thing, to my Best Ever Friend, I lOVE YOU so much, and I thank you for everything.

Cheers to a new beginning.
Cheers everyone, its been awhile, and so many things to share. After the leave in January, I started to really embrace prayer. My month of March was fantastic. Everything I was praying for was given. I knew all along God would make it happen, and He did. I went back to work, and got more involved with worship. In fact, I'm currently on 2 teams, and also working on a project with another band. I recently moved out of the recovery house after 18 months, into a basement suite, and I'm loving it. I spent some time in prayer before taking this step, and once again God made it happen. I still have a few challenges ahead, but everyone does. Thank You God, My Friends, and Family, I Love You All.

Blessing of all blessings...
After 7 years of no contact with my child, Calla, I was blessed today to chat with her online. Words can't begin to describe how I feel right now! I have so much to say and don't know where to start!
My daughter has turned into a beautiful young woman. She is talented, bright, sweet, and kind. To be able to hear about her life and tell her a little about mine was amazing!!! I've prayed for this day for many years and God has answered my prayers! The lines of communication are finally open and I shall always be grateful for this moment.
Calla, I miss you. You are a treasure to me. You have always been on my mind and in my heart. I love you with a love beyond measure and I can't wait to talk to you again!!!!

What a Rush
Its been a long time coming. I stepped on stage today, for the first time, in a long time, and I assure you What a Rush. I have played many gigs in the past, for other worship teams, however this one was different. Practice was tight, rich, and so God filled, I had a hard time not to break into Animal ( Muppets LOL)
It is as though, I had not lost my edge. Now having said that, the first set was not at all there. I missed a few rolls and fills, however, the others didn`t seem to catch my mistakes.
Inbetween sets, I sat with Michele, with such a perplexed thought. What Just Happened, She held my hand, and told me You Were Amazing, Thank You, she said. Within that second, I melted. See, I critized my talent, my ability, my professionalism and Michele had boosted my faith with a few simple words. I bowed my head and gave thanks to my Lord for such an angel.
As the second set was about to begin, I felt this Rush within my Soul. I have felt this feeling many times in the past, however not like this. It is as though, I belonged with this band. I looked over at Michele, and my heart melted. Any and all fears were lifted, in a heart beat.
I looked over the congregation, and I saw many friends from the program (AA, NA) in utter shock, see many had no clue, I was a muscian. I slammed the skins, and lit up the church, as I have done before, and never lost my edge. God, my Father, I thank you for the gifts you have blessed me with, and I shall always, look, seek, and listen to your tunes. Once again, Thank You.
I leave you with this, Lynard Skynard Classic.
